From the Settings page of your Apple Watch app, you can choose to activate an alarm that will sound and vibrate every 250m, 500m, 1 Km, 1NM.

If you activate the alarm, you will be able to set an Audio that will vocalize every "distance" the "Total Distance, Max Speed and Pace in Minute:Seconds per Distance unit"
