This feature enables Waterspeed to seamlessly connect and automatically import watersport activities from your Garmin devices directly into Waterspeed, record with any app on the Garmin device.

PLEASE NOTE that Waterspeed can import only activities that were a water sport type originally. Changing the type after the recording, won't wotk and you will need to export a GPX or a FIT file from Gamrin Connect, and import manually in Waterspeed.

You can also download the native app for Waterspeed from the Garmin IQ Store. If your device is not compatible, you can use the Garmin recording app with any water sport selected, and then Waterspeed will download data from the Garmin Connect cloud. If needed, you will have to edit the sport type from the Activity page inside Waterspeed app.

This feature is also available on the iPad, without an iPhone.

How to Connect Your Garmin Account to Waterspeed
Open the Waterspeed mobile app and navigate to the Settings tab. Select the option to connect to your Garmin account. Once connected, Waterspeed will automatically download every new watersport activity saved in Garmin Connect.

How to download past activities
Open the Garmin Login page, choose how many months (up to 18) to download, and click on "Download past activities". It might take up to 24 hours to complete.

This procedure will download also sport type "Other". In case it downloads too many activities from Garmin, you can filter "Garmin" in the Diary, by clicking on the Lens button. And then, delete activities that are water sports related.

Note: syncing capability is available for any Waterspeed users, free and Pro.
